Abnormal Vibration of Rotary Kiln Girth Gear
Rotary kiln girth gear and meshing pinion together constitute an important part of the rotary kiln rotating system, but during the operation of the rotary kiln, the rotary kiln girth gear is prone to abnormal vibration. So what are the reasons for the abnormal vibration of rotary kiln girth gear?
1. Rotary kiln kiln body parts wear and overall subsidence rotary kiln is a large-load continuous operation equipment. After long-term operation, the rolling ring, supporting roller, backing plate and other components are greatly worn, and the uneven foundation settlement causes the kiln body as a whole. down, so that the top clearance becomes smaller, causing vibration. Sometimes the whole kiln line is not lowered, but the drop of the support position close to the rotary kiln girth gear also causes the vibration of the large ring gear, which is caused by the subsidence or serious wear of the base of the support position, or the improper adjustment of the kiln.
2. Caused by wear and tear of connecting parts. The girth gear is connected with the kiln body through the pin shaft of the spring plate. The rotary kiln girth gear itself is manufactured in sections, and the corresponding screws are used to synthesize the whole. After the pins, counterscrews, and these connectors are worn out, the parts of the rotary kiln girth gear become loose, and the local rotary kiln girth gear sinks, which will also cause the tooth top clearance to become smaller and vibration occurs. From a maintenance point of view, the only solution is to replace (or tighten) the counterpart screw once. Of course, for the counterpart screw, from the point of view of design and manufacture, it is better to make the ring gear as a whole (or fastened connection), and not to connect the counterpart screw, so as to fundamentally eliminate the shock factor (large teeth due to separation) The manufacture of the flap is for reversal use, which is another problem. Because practice has proved that the tooth shape of the rotary kiln girth gear is simple, the rotation speed is not large, and the tooth thickness is half worn, and it can still operate normally).
3. The cylindrical body at or around the rotary kiln girth gear is bent, causing the radial deflection of the rotary kiln girth gear to be too large and causing vibration. It is manifested in the meshing operation of the large ring gear and the pinion, and the top clearance is half a circle larger than a half circle. The vibration is also a periodic half-side vibration. Therefore, the real cause of vibration is that the top clearance is too small.
4.Rotary kiln girth gear itself problem. The top clearance of the transmission gear is generally 0.2-0.25 times the modulus. Due to the large outer diameter of the rotary kiln ring gear, there are factors such as radial deflection, and the top clearance is 0.28 times the modulus plus 0.5-1mm. At the same time, after the large ring gear is installed, the radial runout is required, and the axial deflection is not more than 2mm. Most of the large ring gears are connected to the kiln body by the rotary kiln girth gear due to the runout value or the yaw value.
5. Vibration caused by tooth thickness wear The vibration caused by this reason is continuous and rhythmic vibration, which can be observed by the meshing of the rotary kiln girth gear.
6. The pinion is not installed properly. Most of the rotary kiln girth gear and the two pinions form an equilateral triangle under the ideal meshing state, but the angle has changed after long-term operation.
